We manufacture machines for grinding purposes. All these grinding machines function efficiently and are widely demanded in the global markets. Magnetic Separators (Drum Type)

Magnetic Separators (Drum Type)


We manufacture drum type magnetic separators which has a magnetic drum with close dense magnetic field which is assembled on non-magnetic SS shaft. Magnetic pole shoes are projected out to form “fins”, for better magnetic field alignment around the drum. The drum is rotated very slowly by a geared motor drive. A non-magnetic SS trough holds the dirty fluid close to drum. Magnetic dirt is picked-up by magnetic field & is attached to the finned drum.

Slow rotary motion dumps the dirt collected on closely contoured scrapers. Extended scraper dumps the dirt collected to a bin. Size & number of fins is selected depending on the flow of fluid, viscosity of fluid & quantum of dirt to be handled. Positive rake scraper is selected for volatile fluid like water based emulsion while negative rake scraping is selected for oils. Negative rake scraper keeps the fluid away from bin.

Vacuum Filters


We manufacture vacuum filters which use consumable filter paper for filtration. These vacuum filters can effectively handle viscous fluids up to 40 Cst. They require lesser space as dirty fluid tank and filter are together. They can easily be designed to handle much larger flows & dirt quantities. They use pump suction vacuum for filtration in addition to gravity head available. Pressure drop used is about 4 m of fluid column. Hence gathers more dirt layer to perform much better than all types of gravity filters.

Paper Band Filters

Paper Band Filters


We manufacture eco type paper band filters that are mounted on rollers for ease of shifting during tank cleaning. They do not have any electrical panel. The dirty filter paper is wound on a mandrel for easy disposal while the dirt collected is stored in a bin. They are suitable for fine coolant filtration for honing, grinding, lapping, gun drilling, etc. for small individual machines.

Working

Fluid with dirt is exposed to finned magnetic separator first. After magnetic separation the fluid drops in paper band filter trough. A float-actuated clutch derives motion from a common drive & indexes dirty filter paper.

Back Washable Filters


We manufacture back washable filters which are completely automatic and have high clarity level. these filters are used for honing, lapping and grinding processes in industries.

Filter Drain Mode :

Dirty fluid Inlet and Clean Fluid outlet valves are closed. Compressed air is let in through actuated valve N3. This drains the fluid in bottom dirty zone through N 5 which is taken back to the dirty tank. N3 and N 5 are opened only during this operation.

Backwash Mode :

After the fluid drains, N3 and N 5 are closed. Now compressed air let in through valve N 7 in the top clean zone. The air passes through the Candle filter from inside to the outside dirty zone. This cleans the outer surface of the candle. The loosened dirt comes out through valve N6. Valves N 7 and N6 are open only during back washing operation.

Vent Mode :

After the backwashing mode the dirty fluid inlet and clean fluid outlet valves N 4 and N2 are opened again. Vent Valve N 1 is also opened. This vents the trapped air out and filling the vessel. The Vent is closed after a set time.

Working

Array of candles are assembled on a plate in housing. The plate separates the top clean from bottom dirty zone.

Dirty fluid enters the bottom zone through actuated valve N 4. The dirt accumulates on the edges of candle discs while clean fluid passes from outside to inner tube of Candle. The inner tube is connected to the top clean zone. The clean fluid goes out through actuated valve N2. In normal operation N 4 and N2 are always open.

When outer surface of Candles is full of muck the candles are chocked. This creates a pressure differential which is sensed by a pressure switch. On receiving signal from switch the PLC puts the housing into Filter Drain mode.

Back Washable Filters

Compact Band Filters

Compact Band Filters


Suitable for fine filtration of coolants used in grinding, honing, gun drilling & component washing applications these compact band filters forms deeper trough compared to a paper band filter.

Working

In this filter the filter paper is held between a pair of sealing discs & a permeable support belt. Dirty fluid is dropped in the trough formed with filter paper at the bottom. The fluid passes through the filter paper leaving the dirt on it. The layer of dirt gathered on the filter paper achieves finer filtration. The filter is mounted directly on top of the tank, letting clean fluid in the tank.

As the filter paper chokes, the fluid level above the filter paper rises. This activates a level switch, starting a drive coupled to the rollers, supporting the permeable support belt. This ejects part of the dirty filter paper & dirt to bin, pulling in clean filter paper from the roll.

Filter Cartridges


We design filter cartridges which have hinged bolts damp lids. These cartridges are used for a variety of applications like filtration of hydraulic oils, lub oils, fuels, cutting fluids, coolants, washing fluids etc., Their housings are sized depending on the application & rated flow requirement. These can be designed for higher pressures. The housings of verity of material of construction are supplied depending on the requirement.

Working

The dirty fluid is pushed in the filter housing under pressure. Filter elements of correct filtration rating are placed in the housing depending on the flow & other requirements. The ends of the filter elements are sealed so that the fluid is made to pass through the filter medium only, to leave the dirt on the filter medium. Generally the inlet & outlet are in one line. However the position of the inlet could be altered as per the requirement.
