Magnetic Separators (Candle Type)

We manufacture candle type magnetic separators that are compact and occupy less space keeping the tank free for maintenance. They are more suitable for cellular installations. With excellent collection efficiency they are perfect for viscous liquids. They run only on one drive and also require less power. They are suitable to handle fine ferrous dirt from large flows of coolant. Most useful in rolling, grinding, wire-drawing etc. Working An endless belt of magnetic candles is dipped in dirty coolant tank such that the dirty coolant enters in the core. Coolant flows slowly over the magnetic candles leaving the ferrous dirt on the candles. The belt is indexed to pull out dirt-laden candles & rotate them at top to remove the dirt. Self Cleaning Filters

Our self cleaning filters are suitable for roll coolant application. Positioned in line with mill feed pump they have no consumables and operate at a low cost. They can also be heated by steam heating the coils if required. Working Dirty fluid enters inside a cylindrical wedge wire screen, placed in a pressure vessel. Dirt remains inside the screen, letting clean fluid outside the vessel. When pressure drop reaches a pre-set value, drive starts rotating a scraper blade inside the screen. Low pressure pocket near scraper lets dirt collected to an actuated filter drain. A separate pair of filters recovers the fluid from drain, while the filtered fluid is directly fed to the mill. Pneumatic Vacuum Filters

Our pneumatic vacuum filters are suitable for fine filtration of coolants used in rolling and wire drawing. Totally automatic in operation they offer a fine filtration using lesser filter paper. Working Vacuum filter body is placed at elevated height on clean fluid tank. Sealed cavity under filter paper is extended till low fluid level in the tank. A blower evacuates this cavity continuously. A conveyor belt in the vacuum filter supports filter paper. A transfer pump lets dirty fluid above the filter paper. Vacuum under the filter paper sucks the fluid through, letting the dirt remain on top. Dirt layer formed on the filter paper facilitates finer filtration. After the filter paper is choked, level rise above it is sensed by a float switch, starting conveyor drive. Add to Enquiry Basket

Flat Bed Pressure Filters

They have a low initial and operational cost and are suitable as centralized fine coolant for finish grinding, filtration of high viscosity grinding fluids and filtration of honing oil with pre coat arrangement. These filters have pneumatically actuated operation. The dirt is also purged with compressed air to recover fluid. Working Dirty fluid is fed under pressure in to inlet manifold. It is distributed equally in 4 different plates. Filter papers clamped & supported between plates separate the dirt & form a layer (cake). This effects finer filtration. Vacuum Filters

We manufacture vacuum filters which use consumable filter paper for filtration. These vacuum filters can effectively handle viscous fluids up to 40 Cst. They require lesser space as dirty fluid tank and filter are together. They can easily be designed to handle much larger flows & dirt quantities. They use pump suction vacuum for filtration in addition to gravity head available. Pressure drop used is about 4 m of fluid column.
